RR601 inhibits PTP1B and SHP-2. PTP1B and SHP-2 initial velocities versus RR601 concentration were fit to Eq. (1) resulting in estimated RR601 IC50 ± SE values of 2.1 ± 0.2 for PTP1B and 1.1 ± 0.1 μM for SHP-2. Activity was monitored utilizing pNPP as the substrate. Data points represent the mean ± SD of three or four trials with three to eight wells at each RR601 concentration
