From: Sigma-1 receptor directly interacts with Rac1-GTPase in the brain mitochondria
Effects of (+)-pentazocine and haloperidol on the content of total Bad and Bad(pSer112) in mitochondrial lysates. Mitochondria were incubated with haloperidol (H), with (+)-pentazocine (P) or with both ligands (H + P) as described in Material and methods. Mitochondrial lysates were subjected to the analyzes of total Bad and Bad(pSer112). Values in the ELISAs (means ± SD) are representative of three experiments and are reported as arbitrary units. Each assay was performed at least in duplicate. *P < 0.05 compared with the control (C).
