The lifetime measurement of CaM-bound ANS. A solution containing 5 μM CaM and 50 μM ANS was excited with 345 nm from a NanoLED light source and its dynamic fluorescence decay (black) was monitored with TCSPC using a 200-ns window for 4000 channels. The prompt is shown in blue color. The decay was best fitted with a three-exponential decay (green line in upper panel) and the weighted residues are indicated in the lower panel. The calculated χ2 is 0.986. The values from the fitting are shown in Table 2.
