The relative density value (r.d.v.) was calculated by dividing the optical density value (o.d.v.) by the background and binding was considered relevant when at least 3 consecutive peptides showed binding values of at least 3 times the background. The unprocessed optical density values (left X-axis) of each peptide (Y-axis, peptide number) are plotted in the graph, while relative density values (right X-axis) of each peptide are plotted in the column graph.
