Heterologous expression of two Kazal domains of EPI1. A, Amino acid sequences of recombinant Kazal domains rEPI1a and rEPI1b. The letters in upper case represent the amino acid sequence of the EPI1 protein. Residues in bold correspond to the native Kazal domains EPI1a and EPI1b as shown in Fig. 1. The letters in lower case represent the vector derived sequence with the underlined ones representing FLAG epitope tag.
