From: Presenilin-1 regulates the constitutive turnover of the fibronectin matrix in endothelial cells
Lack of increased synthesis of fibronectin in PS1−/− endothelial cells. p43 wild type (wt) and p41 PS1−/− endothelial cells were metabolically labeled with 35S cysteine/methionine. Fibronectin was immunoprecipitated from the culture medium as well as in the DOC soluble and insoluble cellular fractions and levels were determined by fluorography. In panel A, duplicate experiments are shown where fibronectin was measured after labeling for the indicated times (hours). In panel B, the results of the experiments in panel A are quantitated.
