Non-cytotoxic concentration of DNP in stable isotope-labeled 6-10B cells. A, Structure of DNP, an N-nitroso compound. B, Stable isotope-labeled 6-10B cells were treated with the indicated DNP concentration and then subjected to MTT cell viability assay as described in the Materials and Methods. “OD” indicates the relative optical density at 492 nm. C, After stable isotope-labeled 6-10B cells were treated with the indicated DNP concentration, and cell media were subjected to the LDH assay. LDH activity is per 1 L of media. Data are presented as the means ± standard deviation from three independent experiments, statistically analyzed using Student’s t- test (*, p < 0.05; α=0.05).
