For the ex vivo rubber biosynthesis experiment 3 mg of freshly prepared rubber particles was incubated for 60 min with [1-¹⁴C]IPP in IPP assay buffer containing different concentrations of Mg²⁺ ion. Values represent mean (± standard deviation) from three biological repetitions.
